Plan your oral-care sample kit
A sample is quoted all-in, goods and shipping, and production starts only after you approve it. Choose the references and packaging you want to compare, and the fee may be credited against a later production order on terms set on your quotation.

Start with a simple buying brief
No reference yet? Describe the product you want to sell, your sales market and your buying stage. If you already have a shortlist, name the references and the case, box or insert options you want compared.
Use the blank worksheet to record the quoted specification, sample observations and open questions. It is free to download and you can use it with any supplier. To collect references first, use the product shortlist and download a brief with your selection. See an illustrative first sports-mouthguard sample request.
Example: a first sports-mouthguard sample
Illustrative buying request, not a customer order or quotation. Replace the details with your own.
| Field | Example request |
|---|---|
| Reference | XMD-SPT-001 |
| Sales market / channel | Singapore / own-brand online store |
| Delivery | Singapore |
| Buying stage | Compare a sample before planning a production order |
| Quantity | Not decided — please quote the sample quantity and production quantity breaks |
| Packaging | Please compare plain packing with a branded case and insert, if available |
| Questions | Please confirm the current version, contents, dimensions, sample goods and shipping, lead time, and documents for the proposed market. |
Only the reference and sample intent are prefilled; supply your own market, quantity and requirements.
The sample kit
Ask for the references you are considering and specify the quantity of each, case and packaging options. For a focused comparison, you could request an adjustable and a fixed mouthpiece, or two night-guard constructions. These are examples for a buying brief; the sample quotation confirms availability and names the exact kit contents, goods and shipping.
Compare the sample with the quoted specification
Record what you receive against the exact reference and sample date, then send the desk any difference from your quotation.
| Compare | Record | Ask the desk for |
|---|---|---|
| Reference and contents | Reference label, piece count, case, accessories and photographs of the received kit. | Any difference from the quotation or approved packing list. |
| Construction and dimensions | Visible construction and dimensions, with measurement locations and method. | The controlled specification, tolerances and material declaration for that reference. |
| Case and retail pack | Case fit with the supplied product, closure, print, labels and insert version. | Artwork approval steps, included packing and any quoted changes. |
| Instructions and documents | Document title, holder, revision, named reference and unresolved questions. | Which documents cover the exact finished article and what further assessment is needed. |
| Quotation and next step | Sample goods, shipping, production quantity and open commercial terms. | Availability, lead time and any sample-credit terms in writing. |
Inspection on a production order
Every piece is inspected for appearance, fit and thickness before it is packed. A pre-shipment inspection by an agency you appoint is offered as a routine control for first orders and for any order with a new mould or a new gel. The desk arranges a video call across the moulding hall and the packing line on request.
Tests you can commission
Reports are requested against the exact finished article, and the scope, laboratory, report holder and cost of any new test are agreed before it is booked.
| Test | For | What it supports |
|---|---|---|
| Biological evaluation and scoped biocompatibility testing | trays, frames, guards | Ask a qualified assessor to set the evaluation scope for the finished article, its processing and contact conditions; no fixed test package establishes sufficiency. |
| Material declaration and extractables for EVA | trays and guards | A buyer's material question and a food-contact-style declaration where a market asks for it. |
| Lead, phthalates and heavy metals | youth sports guards, cases | Ask the adviser and retailer which requirements apply to the exact product and intended age group. |
| Certificate of analysis: peroxide content and pH | whitening gels and pens | Records the percentage and pH for the quoted batch or formulation. Ask your adviser which limits and responsibilities apply in the intended market. |
| Electrical safety and emissions for the LED light | whitening lights | The electronics file for a phone-powered or USB-powered light in the EU, UK and United States. |
| Skin irritation and sensitisation for the adhesive | mouth tape | The skin-contact safety data behind a tape listing. |
A test report answers a defined question; a market clearance is a separate document. Before ordering, agree which business holds each required document, which documents apply to your exact product, and which responsibilities remain with you. The compliance by market guide sets out the roles.
Notes
Sample comparison. The worksheet compares procurement and packaging details, not wearer suitability, effectiveness, safety or market clearance. Use controlled product instructions and qualified assessment for any use or testing beyond this non-use comparison, and do not infer performance in use or transport from these observations.
Test reports. For an existing report, its availability, scope, revision, holder, permission to share or rely on it and any cost are agreed first; for new testing, the scope, laboratory, tested article, report holder, disclosure permission and cost are agreed before booking. Ask your assessor whether an existing report covers the actual finished article and processing before commissioning new work.
