Small runs, first orders and single-piece dispatch
Start with a sample kit, move to a small plain-packaging run, then switch to your own packaging once the listing sells. Single pieces and small parcels can go straight to your customers while you test a listing.
Single pieces. Small parcels and single pieces go out from the Guangzhou warehouse of RyanFulfil (Singapore), the company behind the desk, on tracked parcel services.
The three steps of a first order
- A sample kit. One or two pieces of each reference you are considering, quoted all-in with shipping, so you can photograph them and compare them before you order. The samples and testing page shows how to compare them.
- A small run in plain packaging. The lowest production minimum is the current design in a polybag with its case or in the standard colour box, with your barcode applied as a label. Confirm the packing and the listing documents you need before using this route for a first production order.
- Your branded packaging. Once the listing sells, the same reference moves into your colour box, your case colour and your insert card. The private label page covers the steps.
Your quotation states the minimum for each step and the sample cost. A sample credit, if offered, is agreed on the quotation and shown on the proforma.
Single pieces and small parcels to your customers
While you test a listing, or where your model sells one piece at a time, the desk dispatches single pieces and small parcels to your customers from RyanFulfil's Guangzhou warehouse. Express and economy parcel services and their working days per destination are on the shipping and delivery page. Parcels leave in your packaging where you have it, or in the standard box where you do not.
How stock is held, how orders reach the desk and how each parcel is charged are agreed on your quotation. A destination the parcel services do not cover is quoted separately.
What a small run still gets
- The same moulded product as a large order, from the same line.
- A commercial invoice, packing list and shipping documents for the order.
- The product images and instruction version available for the exact quoted reference, for your listing.
- For gels and pens, the ingredient declaration or batch documentation available for the exact quoted formulation.
- Any material declaration, certificate of analysis or test report named on the quotation.
The regulatory position is the same whatever the quantity: the applicable documents and business responsibilities are agreed for your exact product and market. The compliance by market guide explains them.
Notes
For any material declaration, certificate of analysis or test report, confirm availability, exact-reference scope, holder and cost before it is named on the quotation or booked. For gels and pens, confirm the holder and scope of the ingredient declaration or batch documentation for the exact quoted formulation.
