Mouth tape sourcing: material, adhesive and packaging
Start with the X-shaped strips in the range, XMD-TAP-001, packed 120 strips to a pack. Specify the backing, adhesive, strip dimensions, pack count and packaging for the exact reference, then collect the instructions and documents needed for your proposed market.
Before approving packaging. Request the product's own instructions, warnings and supporting reports. Have the intended use, claims and applicable market requirements assessed together.
What to specify for the strip
| Detail | Ask for | Record for your order |
|---|---|---|
| Shape and dimensions | The drawing and dimensions of the selected X-shaped strip | Reference, version and the dimensions to compare on a sample |
| Backing | The exact fabric or film and its specification | The material declaration for the finished strip |
| Adhesive | Adhesive chemistry and whether the tape contains latex | The specification, supporting reports and agreed pack wording |
| Pack contents | Strips per pack, liner or individual wrapping, and the retail format | The exact contents and artwork to approve |
For a different strip design, send a drawing or sample and ask whether it can be quoted; its construction and instructions are quoted separately.
Materials, adhesive and samples
Ask the desk to confirm the backing, adhesive chemistry and latex content for each reference. Ask for the declarations and reports that identify the finished article and its materials.
For skin irritation or sensitisation tests, request the relevant report for the exact tape reference. Confirm whether it is available and what finished article it covers, including scope, laboratory, report holder and permission to share or rely on it. If new testing is needed, agree the scope, laboratory and report holder before booking. Ask a qualified assessor whether any report covers your intended product and claims.
Use the sample comparison worksheet to record the reference, dimensions, pack contents, labels and documents. Use the product's controlled instructions and qualified assessment for any use or testing beyond that purchasing comparison.
Pack counts and private-label packaging
Strips are supplied on a liner sheet or individually wrapped, in packs of a count you choose, in a colour box or a resealable pouch with your artwork. Your quotation states the pack count, format and minimum. The packaging guide covers artwork, labels and carton data.
Instructions, claims and documents
Describe the quoted strip shape, backing, adhesive and pack contents. Request the exact product's instructions and warnings before preparing your insert or listing. The desk does not print claims about treating snoring, breathing conditions or sleep disorders.
Have your adviser assess the intended use, claims and product together for each market. Removing a claim does not by itself settle classification or the documents needed. Before ordering, agree which business holds each required document, which documents apply to your exact product, and which responsibilities remain with you. The compliance by market guide sets out the market questions.
Your message opens in WhatsApp with the page name added, so the desk knows what you are looking at.

Notes
Test reports. For a skin irritation or sensitisation report, confirm whether it is available and what finished article it covers, including scope, laboratory, report holder and permission to share or rely on it.
